Social Impact
Resident Services
We are proud that more than 8,000 households at Meta Housing communities have access to a wide range of on-site resident services at no cost.
We provide summer and after-school programs that foster youth development, service coordination to support housing and economic stability, health and wellness programs, arts and creative programming, and community-building activities.
Nearly 2,000 of our residents attend our financial literacy classes annually, and more than 2,500 households utilize our food security assistance programs.
Partnerships
Meta Housing is committed to encouraging active resident engagement and meaningful collaboration with our community partners to create lasting positive effects for the residents and neighborhoods that we serve. We work closely with more than 50 local government and nonprofit partners, including the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the YMCA, and The People Concern. These partnerships make it possible to offer over 200,000 hours of free resident services and case management annually at our communities.
Environmental Sustainability
We prioritize building with sustainable features and equipment in order to conserve energy and water resources, resulting in lower utility costs and reduced stress on the environment.
To date, Meta Housing has built over 40 communities that have achieved various levels of LEED, National Green Building Standard, or GreenPoint Rated Program certifications.
